One agent platform, one name

The AI workforce platform we research and run started life under another name: Nangula AI. As the platform grew into the Tangison Agent programme, the name changed with it. One agent platform, one name, one standard of accountability. This note records that lineage so clients, auditors, and partners are never left guessing which system the paperwork refers to.

What the infrastructure does

The agent runs where its owner runs it: inside client infrastructure, on hardware the client controls. It queues its work around interrupted power, logs every action where an auditor can read it, and treats a lost connection as a condition to plan for, not an emergency.

That discipline is unchanged from the Nangula AI days. A rename does not reset an engineering standard. The orchestration layer, the audit trails, and the offline-first job queues are the same machinery, hardened further by the current programme.

The NCRST boost behind it

While the company operated as Gemsweb Digital, the National Commission on Research, Science and Technology boosted the agent product: national recognition for applied AI built in Namibia, at a stage when it mattered most. That boost helped the platform reach the field and proved the work could stand on its own hardware.

The destination has not changed since the platform's first build: intelligence that runs where it is deployed, on hardware its owners control, under conditions nobody would call ideal. Today that line continues in-house under the Tangison name.
