AI Researcher

Windhoek, or remote within Namibia · Full-time

Join the applied AI programme: agent infrastructure research run in-house, and the systems we build around it.

What the work is

  • Contribute to the in-house agent infrastructure research programme, a line of work NCRST boosted in the company's Gemsweb Digital era.
  • Prototype and evaluate applied AI systems under Namibian conditions: intermittent connectivity, late data, uneven infrastructure.
  • Document research so it survives audits and reviews.
  • Work directly with the founder on programme direction.

What it takes

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical work.
  • Demonstrated applied AI or systems work you can show and defend.
  • Comfortable working in a small, founder-led company.
  • Based in Namibia, or Namibian and returning.
